On Friday evening, the Duluth Huskies would find themselves with another loss on the season as they faced the Eau Claire Express in their series opener.

The Huskies fell behind early in the game, with the Express taking three runs in the bottom of the second. The Huskies would close the gap with an unearned run in the top of the third, before the Express return the favor in the bottom of the third.

Solidifying their lead, the Express would tally three runs in the bottom of the fifth, and five runs in the bottom of the sixth to make the score 12-2.

The Huskies would rally back, but would not be able to turn things around, falling short 15-6.

The Huskies will return for their home opener against the Express on Saturday, May 31st at 5:35PM.
