Duluth FC Advances in 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup

Duluth, Minn. - Duluth FC and Dakota Fusion FC needed extra time and ultimately, penalty kicks to decide their

1st Round U.S. Open Cup match on Wednesday night at Malosky Stadium in Duluth. The match was a 4-4 draw with the hosting BlueGreens winning 3-0 the PKs to advance.

The win was the first for Joel Person with the BlueGreens. He was named Head Coach in the offseason.

Duluth FC is the defending North Conference Champion in the Northern Premier Soccer League (NPSL).
