Greyhounds Gear Up For State, Looking for 1st Title Since 1998

St. Paul, Minn. - Duluth East is making their 23rd trip to state and first trip since 2015, when they finished as finished as the runner-up in the State AA Title Game. This year's squad is considered a title contender as they're trying to win their first championship since 1998.

The Greyhounds are seeded third in Class AA and will meet St. Michael-Albertville in the quarterfinals on Thursday at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The game is schedule for 1:00 p.m. and you can watch it in the Northland on WDIO/WIRT.
