Web Extra: Extended Highlights from Duluth East's OT Win Over Andover

The Duluth East boys' hockey team is headed back to the Class AA State Tournament for the first time since 2015 after defeating Andover 3-2 in overtime.

Sophomore Logan Anderson scored the game-winning goal deflecting a pass from Luke LaMaster to give the Greyhounds the edge.

Brendan Baker scored Duluth East's first goal of the game in the third period. Ryder Donovan followed that up by scoring the equalizer with just 1:15 left in the third period.

Luke Kron and Charlie Schoen were the two goal scorers that gave Andover the 2-0 lead. The Huskies kept their lead up until the third period.

Parker Kleive got the victory between the pipes, while Ben Fritsinger was stellar stopping 50 shots, but couldn't give the Huskies the win.

Duluth East will play their first game in the Class AA State Tournament on Thursday, March 8. It will take place at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
