Denfeld Shuts Out Marshall, Grand Rapids Wins 7th Straight Against Hermantown

The Duluth Denfeld and Grand Rapids boy hockey teams each earned wins Thursday evening at their home ice arenas.

The Hunters shut out Duluth Marshall 7-0. Duluth Denfeld will take their three-game win streak into the postseason at the No. 2 seed in Section 7A. They finished the regular season 19-5-1.

Grand Rapids held on to beat Hermantown 4-2 at the IRA Civic Center. The win marked the Thunderhawks seventh straight. Grand Rapids finished the regular season 17-7-1. They await their postseason seeding.

Hermantown wrapped up the regular season with a 18-3-4 overall record. The Hawks will enter the Section 7A tournament as the top seed.
