Hunters Happy to Have Soccer This Fall

Tuesday's decision by the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) wasn't all bad news.

It was decided that soccer would be the only team sport that would be allowed to play this fall. That was a relief for the Duluth Denfeld boys soccer team who started in-person summer workouts the very first day they were allowed to.

"They are going to shorten the season, fewer games. Only 1-2 games a week where before we might have up to three, but getting out there to play is exciting for all of us. With so many seniors coming back too, I'm hoping we get some sort of playoff even. We don't even know what that is going to look like yet," explained head coach Scott Anderson. p> The Hunters have 13 seniors set to play this season.

Practices are expected to start on August 17th.
