Duluth Denfeld's Huie Will Step Down After Nearly 40 Years with the Hunters

Duluth Denfeld's Frank Huie announced he will be stepping down as the head coach of the football program after spending nearly 40 years coaching multiple athletic programs.

The announcement was made Wednesday afternoon in a press release.

Huie has been a long time member of the Denfeld coaching staff in some capacity (football, track and girls basketball) since 1980. The Denfeld graduate has served as the head football coach from 2005-2009 and then again 2012-2018.

The past fall the Denfeld football team had their most successful season since 2009 going 7-4.
