Former UMD Captain Dom Toninato Agrees to Terms With Florida Panthers

Former UMD Men's Captain Dom Toninato was recently traded to the Florida Panthers and he has now agreed to terms with them.

The Panthers announced Toninato agreed to a one-year, two-way deal. Financial details were not announced.

The 25-year old Duluth native has played mostly in the AHL the past two seasons, but has also played in 39 career NHL games, all with Colorado. He has 1 goal and 2 assists at the NHL level. In his AHL career, Toninato has 41 points (21-20-41) over 88 games.
