DE Brian Robison to Return for 12th Season With Vikings

Eagan, Minn. - Vikings Defensive End Brian Robison would return for a 12th season with the team.

The 35-year old announced on social media that he'll continue playing. He is under contract through the 2019 season, but he had discussed the possibility of retiring after the end of last season.

Robison was a fourth-round pick of the Vikings in 2007 out of Texas. He has 60 sacks in 173 career games with Minnesota. He also started every game in which he played from 2011 through 2016. Last season, he started only once as he played a backup role to Danielle Hunter at left end. He had four sacks in 15 games.
