CSS softball drops doubleheader to Gustavus Adolphus

The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) softball team dropped both games in their doubleheader against Gustavus Adolphus College on Monday.

The Saints rally came up short in game one as they fell 5-4 in 9 innings. In second game, the Saints lead for the first four innings, until Gustavus plated runs in each of its final three at-bats to win going away 6-1.

The Saints who sit 32-6 overall are looking to fill their regular season schedule with another doubleheader. If they can't, their next action will be hosting the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Tournament beginning on Thursday, May 13.
