Former College of St. Scholastica (CSS) goalie Lexi Thomaczek and former UW-Superior (UWS) basketball standout Eva Reinertsen have been named 2020 NCAA Woman of the Year nominees

They are among 220 DIII (605 total) student-athletes to be nominated for the award.

Thomaczek, a 2020 CSS graduate, is one of nine hockey players up for the award and the only one from a division three program.

Starting in net for the Saints from 2016-2020 she broke multiple school records.

During her career the netminder recorded over 2,200 saves, and her .945 career save percentage ranks fifth in NCAA Division III history.

Across the border at UWS Reinertsen also earned nominee honors.

The 2020 graduate led the Yellowjackets with 17.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game tying the UMAC lead in assists with 95.

She finished her senior campaign amassing 1,323 points and 570 rebounds.

The top nine finalists for NCAA Woman of the Year will be announced this fall.
