Hakamakis Tally 2,000, Cardinals Sweep Panthers, Esko Tops Nashwauk-Keewatin

Cromwell-Wright's Taya and Shaily Hakamaki surpassed 2000 points in the Cardinals 62-29 win over South Ridge Monday night. It's believed to be the first time that has ever happened in state history.


Taya scored 23 to total 2,019 and Shaily had 22 adding up to 2,003.

Micah Pocernich had 23 points as the Cardinal boys defeated South Ridge 62-44.

Esko rallied from behind to defeat Nashwauk-Keewatin 77-74. The loss ends the Spartans 12-game win streak.
