Saints Advance in UMAC Tournament with 75-71 Victory Over Crown

The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) men's basketball survived the first round of Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) playoffs by defeating Crown 75-71 Monday evening.


Five different Saints were in double figures. Collin Anderson and Nick Carlson led with 18 points, whiel Jack Silgen brought down a 12-point, 11 rebound double-double in the win. Quinn Fischer added 12 points and Jarod Wilken scored 14 points off the bench.

The Saints (14-12) will travel to face top-seeded Northwestern on Wednesday evening in UMAC semifinal round.
