The No. 10 UMD men's hockey team will take its show on the road this Friday and Saturday (Jan. 31-Feb. 1) when the Bulldogs pay a visit to Denver, Colo., for a two-game National Collegiate Hockey Conference series with the No. 4 University of Denver. The puck drops at 8:07 p.m. (MT) both nights at Magness Arena (6,206) on the Denver campus.

The Bulldogs are unbeaten in five of their last six matchups with the Pioneers, going 4-1-1 since Nov. 17, 2018 (and 2-0-1 since posting a 3-0 triumph in the 2019 NCHC Frozen Faceoff semifinals.

UMD took four of a possible six points from Denver in a two-game set earlier this season in Duluth (Nov. 8-9), handing the then-No. 1 Pioneers their first loss of the season (5-2) in the series finales after the two long-time rivals played to a 3-3 overtime tie the previous evening (Denver snared the extra NCHC point by winning the shoot out).

Head Coach Scott Sandelin, Kobe Roth and Cole Koepke met with media members on Wednesday to discuss the upcoming NCHC series. To hear their comments, click on the video box above.
