The Bulldogs are fresh off a 52-7 win over Minot State in a game the dogs dominated.... except for one play.

Cory Carignan's crazy kickoff return for a 100 yard touchdown got play nationally. The Bulldogs aren't thrilled about that, but they did win.

"We had guys that had lost 'contain' because the ball was fumbled into the endzone and lost containment, but it is something we can learn from and for our program to be on ESPN, it's good and bad," says Head Coach Curt Wiese.

Thursday's game was QB John Larson's first game back after missing the last five games last season with a broken left leg and ankle ligament injuries. He threw three TDs vs Minot State. Last year vs MSU-Moorhead, he threw five touchdowns and rushed for one touchdown in a 60-7 win in Duluth. The Dragons responded by going 7-3. Both teams are 1-0 so far.

"(We) Just play within ourselves and last week, I think we started taking too many shots down field and maybe, just play within ourselves and not try to score a touchdown on every play," says Larson.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. on Saturday in Moorhead.
