College Hoops 1/9: Reinertsen Leads Yellowjacket Women to Win, UW-Superior Men Fall at Home

Superior, Wisc. - There were two hoops games at 'The Hive' with the UW-Superior Yellowjackets hosting Northwestern.

For just the second time this season, the UWS women looked to bounce back from a loss.

Eva Reinertsen had 25 points and 11 rebounds and Emily Carpenter chipped in with 11 points as UW-Superior won 71-61. The Yellowjackets are now 13-2 overall and 6-1 in UMAC play.

In the men's match-up, UW-Superior was looking to snap a four-game skid. Mac Reykdal had 21 points, but the Yellowjackets fell 94-70.

UW-Superior is now 2-13 overall and 1-6 in UMAC play.
