UWS Earns Season Sweep Over Northland, Winning 101-60

The UW-Superior women's basketball team secured their season sweep over Northland College Wednesday, winning 101-60.

Eva Reinertsen led UWS with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Emily Carpenter and Marissa Ruiz tallied 17 and 11 points for the Yellowjackets. Sarah Dunbar led Northland with 11 points. 

The UWS men's basketball team also secured a conference win over Northland, to improve to 9-1 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC). The Yellowjackets won 89-49 earlier Wednesday evening. 

Eli Vogel and Vid Milenkovic each tallied 20 points for UWS. Devyn Frye led the Lumberjacks with 16 points.

Next, they face Minnesota Morris on the road Saturday.
