UWS Men Stay Undefeated in UMAC, Women Fall to Bethany Lutheran

The UWS men's basketball team defeated Bethany Lutheran to stay undefeated in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play, while the women fell 69-68 to the Knights in Superior Saturday. 

The UWS men defeated Bethany Lutheran 84-60. Vid Milenkovic led the Yellowjackets in points with 24 and rebounds with seven. Allen Anderson tallied 22 points and six assists for UWS. 

UWS is off until returning to the court Dec. 29 at the Nicolet National Bank Holiday Tournament at St. Norbert. The 'Jackets open the tournament against the host Green Knights at 7 p.m., and will play either Edgewood or UW-Stout Dec. 30 at 5 or 7 p.m. For the full recap click here.

The UWS women fell 69-68 to Bethany Lutheran. Eva Reinertsen led the Yellowjackets in points with 20 and rebounds with 12.

The 'Jackets return to action Dec. 29-30, hosting the Superior Shootout Holiday Classic. UWS plays Finlandia the first day and Waldorf the second, with both games tipping off at 3 p.m. For the full recap click here.
