UMD Women End Sioux Fall's Win Streak, Men Win 8th Straight

The UMD men's and women's basketball teams opened road stretches with wins over Sioux Falls Friday night.

The Bulldog women handed the No. 7 Cougars their first loss of the season winning 84-74 in South Dakota. Sarah Grow led UMD in points with 18 and Katie Stark led in rebounds with eight. 

The Bulldogs improve to 7-3 (4-0 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) and are now riding a seven game winning streak, while USF falls to 9-1 (3-1 in the NSIC) on the season.

The Bulldog mean defeated Sioux Falls 100-65 extending their win streak to eight. Brandon Myer led UMD in points with 22 and rebounds with six, while Drew Blair tallied 19 points and six rebounds.
