Saints Topple Cougars on Senior Day

The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) baseball team celebrated senior day Saturday by sweeping the University of Minnesota Morris in their weekend doubleheader. With this victory the Saints remain undefeated (7-0) in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play.

CSS defeated Morris 11-1 after seven innings in game one, and 9-4 in a full nine inning match in game two.

In game one, Eric Pearson scored first for the Saints on a wild pitch. Aaron Weber had three hits, while Pearson, Brad Fossum, and Lane Girtz each had two. For the full box score click here.

Next, the Saints travel to UMAC foe North Central for a doubleheader Wednesday.
