Third Trip to Nationals for CSS Cross Country's Casey Hovland

Duluth, Minn. - CSS Senior Casey Hovland is no stranger to nationals as the North Branch native is headed to the NCAA Division III Meet for the third time in here career.

Hovland is the first runner in the history of the women's program to qualify three times.

"I have two great coaches (steve Pfingsten and Chad Salmela) along the way and I have been able to grow as a runner and as a person that has really stood out to me," says Hovland.

"We are going to try and contend and go out, not too hard, and but mark the leaders and the top 20 and try to pick people off in the last half," says Chad Salmela, CSS's Head Coach.

The NCAA Division III Meet is Saturday in Elsah, Illinois.
