Bulldogs Stay at No. 8 in Latest USCHO Poll

For the second week in a row, the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team is in the No. 8 spot in the latest USCHO.com Poll.

St. Cloud State University remained at No. 1 for the third straight week. The Huskies were followed by Cornell University, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Denver who round out the top four spots.

UMD is coming off a weekend sweep of Western Michigan University in the quarterfinal round of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) Playoffs.

The Bulldogs who sit 21-14-3 overall advance to the semifinal round where UMD will face Denver Friday night in the semifinal round of the NCHC Frozen Faceoff set for the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. UMD has won seven of their last eight eight games which includes five shutout victories.
