No. 13 Bulldogs Pass Road Test Defeating MSU-Moorhead 48-20

The No. 13-ranked University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football team passed their first road test of the season defeating Minnesota State University Moorhead 48-20 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) play on Saturday night.

With the win, UMD is now 18-0 in the head-to-head series against MSU Moorhead since 1999 and extended their conference winning streak to 20-straight games.

UMD junior quarterback John Larson completed 17-of-24 passes for 252 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Larson also rushed for 108 yards and one touchdown. Cazz Martin and Wade Sullivan each added two touchdowns, while Zach Ojile and Quincy Woods tallied one.

UMD returns home to play host to St. Cloud State on Military Appreciation Day next Saturday, Sept. 21 at Malosky Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:00 P.M.
