The Bulldogs return 46 lettermen - including six starters on offense and seven on defense - from last year's team, which posted an 11-1 overall record (going a perfect 11-0 during the regular season) and captured a share of the overall Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championship while also securing its ninth NCAA Division II playoff berth and eleventh postseason berth since 2008.

The 11-time Defending NSIC North Division Champion Bulldogs begin preseason camp on August 12th. They open the season September 5th at home vs Minot State University.
