MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Twins have not let the COVID-19 outbreak sidetrack their pursuit of the World Series.

They're aiming higher after an AL Central division title with 101 wins and the major league record with 307 home runs.

Third baseman Josh Donaldson was the marquee addition to the lineup.

The rotation also received an upgrade from the arrival of right-hander Kenta Maeda. Other key newcomers are pitchers Rich Hill, Homer Bailey and Tyler Clippard. Now the hard part will be maintaining the momentum they built this winter and keeping the virus from spoiling the good vibes.
