Apostle Islands Sled Dog Race canceled

The Apostle Islands Sled Dog Race posted on Facebook that the 2022 event is canceled, but a reason was not given.
They posted that the Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau will not be hosting it.
"We are working on some new winter initiatives to promote Bayfield and the area as a winter destination," the race’s Facebook post said.
They encouraged mushers interested in racing to check out the Northern Pines Sled Dog Race in Iron River, Wis.
