Hermantown's Austin Danelski Wins State Alpine Ski Title

Biwabik, Minn. - Hermantown senior Austin Danelski put together a two-run total time of 1:10.96 to win the State Boy's Individual Title at the 2018 Alpine Ski Meets at Giants Ridge in Biwabik.

It is the first state title for Danelski.


Minnetonka took top honors on the team side,with a score of 157. Lakeville South (147) and Edina (136) rounded out the top three.

In girl's, Becca Devine of Eden Prairie claimed the State Girl's Individual Title with a two-run total time of 1:15.44. She was 10th at state last year.

Stillwater won the State Girl's Team Title with a score of 148. Mankato West (147) and Minnetonka (141) rounded out the top three.
