Donald Trump, Jr. coming to Duluth

Donald Trump, Jr. has scheduled a visit to Duluth next Wednesday, Sept. 9. 


He will speak at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center at 5 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m. 

People can register for up to two tickets. A disclaimer at the bottom of the registration reads: 

By registering for this event, you understand and expressly acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. In attending the event, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and waive, release, and discharge Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; Duluth Entertainment Center; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers from any and all liability under any theory, whether in negligence or otherwise, for any illness or injury.

It will be the latest in a string of Trump campaign-related visits to Minnesota and specifically the Northland.

Vice President Mike Pence visited Duluth on Friday, Aug. 28. President Trump was in Minneapolis on Aug. 17, saying he felt confident in his ability to flip Minnesota red. And Ivanka Trump visited Duluth Pack in July.
