Ballot recounts will move ahead Friday in for Milwaukee and Dane counties in Wisconsin.

This comes after the campaign for President Trump requested and paid $3 million for the recount to take place.

Wisconsin’s election committee met for nearly six hours Wednesday to discuss how to conduct the recount, where things did get contentious.

"We don't know that a whole bunch of extra ballots were sent out without any application and why wouldn't we want to, if somebody is raising that question, why wouldn't we want to go ahead and prove it?” asked commission member Robert Spindell.

To which Commission Chair Ann Jacobs responded, “I am shocked and offended that you have implied in any way that clerks in Madison and Milwaukee have sent out thousands of un-requested ballots – I think that is absurd. The issue is not some vague paranoid conspiracy.”

The recounts will take place on the third floor of the Milwaukee Center and must be completed by December 1st.
