Cook-area residents can now have groceries delivered from Zup's, as the company works on rebuilding the store in Cook.

Flames and smoke caused major damage to the structure the week before Thanksgiving.  Just last week, they launched the delivery service.

According to an announcement from Zup's, all you have to do is call the Tower store at 218-753-2725, and place your order.

There will be deliveries on Mondays and Thursdays. For Pioneer and Homestead residents it will be at 2pm at the Pioneer Apartments. For everyone else, it will be at the Waschke Family Chevrolet at 3pm.

There are no added service fees or delivery charges.

The statement goes on to say, "We ask for your patience and understanding as we roll out and fine tune this process during the busy holiday season. We are excited to offer continuity to the community as we work through rebuilding Zup's Foods here in Cook."

Cook Housing Authority, Washke Family Chevrolet, and Cook News-Herald are supporting this effort.
