After a week of giving back to their community at different events, UWS athletes hosted a holiday party on Sunday.

This was all a part of the Yellowjacket Athletics Community Holiday Party. Athletes from each of the university's sports teams participated where the community got the chance to play games and more with them.

"So this is a new event on campus that we are doing this year, and it's just another way for the athletes to get involved with community members in Superior and Duluth," said Mathea Brinker, President of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.

This was the fourth annual year the Student Athletic Advisory Committee has done a week of giving. They helped collect food for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, raise money for the salvation army and other services. to the community.
