Woman drowns in Lake Amnicon

Someone called 911 just before 9 a.m. Deputies responded to the area of Finn Point Rd. 

It was reported that she had gone swimming and could not be located. 

Her body was found about 100 yards south of the dock where she went into the water. 

Foul play is not suspected. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office and Douglas County Medical Examiner are investigating.
