Tricia Hurt, her husband Brian Hurt and their son Brady Hurt just happened to be at the right place at the right time this past weekend in Wisconsin.

And they caught it all on video.

They helped rescue a young bear swimming in Marsh Miller Lake in Chippewa County with a cheese ball tub stuck on its head.

It was sunset Saturday when they spotted the bear and they drove up next it and tried to pull the slippery plastic tub off, at first unsuccessfully.

"That was the thing I remember most, is that bear panting heavily, trying to get air. Can you imagine having that down in the water, it sealed it off so it couldn't get fresh air into that jug?" said Brian Hurt.

But another pass proved successful.

"I should have bought a lottery ticket," he said. "I probably would have better chances at winning the lottery ticket than stumbling across that poor bear."

He said they watched the bear swim to shore and then heard it collapse on land.
