An Eveleth woman's car was totaled after she slid into a train on Monday afternoon.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's office said that 20-year-old Makenzey Goerdt was traveling westbound on the Ramshaw Road in Clinton Township. She was approaching the train crossing as a CN train was heading through.

According to the sheriff's office, she was unable to stop due to the icy roads, and slid into one of the rail cars.

The car was a total loss. But Goerdt was not injured.
