The Timberjay Newspaper reports that the Tower City Council voted unanimously on Monday night to place City Clerk Linda Keith on paid administrative suspension while a "laundry list of allegations" against her is being investigated.

The council also authorized itself to investigate those allegations, according to the Timberjay Newspaper.

The nature of the allegations is not yet clear.

The Timberjay Newspaper reports the council authorized Mayor Orlyn Kringstad to contact former clerk-treasurer Ann Lamppa about possibly replacing Keith on an interim basis.
