Bikers and runners met at City Hall, where they headed out with a police escort. They headed to Stowe School.

This stretch of the run started in Ontario, and headed down from the Range. Officers from Virginia, Hibbing, and St. Louis County also ran legs of it. It also swung through Two Harbors.

Investigator Ryan Temple, from Duluth, said, "We just like to support the athletes. It shows officers doing different things in the community, and they help support us."

The 2019 Special Olympics Minnesota Summer Games are coming up Friday through Sunday at the University of St. Thomas.
