A tall ship, the Schooner Huron Jewel, is set to arrive in Duluth Sunday evening.

She's sailing east after a stop at Madeline Island.

The ship and her crew call Drummond Island, Mich., home. They say they've never visited this part of Lake Superior before.

Capt. Hugh Covert built the Huron Jewel himself. He and his wife Julie say she is a shallow draft boat that handles easily, even with a minimal crew.

They plan to offer free dockside tours during their stay in Duluth.

The ship arrives Sunday evening and will set sail again Tuesday morning.
