Taco Arcada announced Saturday it is shutting its doors seven months after it opened.

"We wish to THANK everyone for supporting the Taco Arcade, and want to inform you that today Saturday, December 14th will be our last day of business. Again thank you for your support and to our awesome staff for all the fun times," Taco Arcada wrote in a Facebook post.

Owner Tom Hanson tells WDIO News Taco Arcada wasn't doing bad from a business perspective, but that it became too difficult to manage both Taco Arcada and Corktown Deli & Brews in terms of the space and volume required.

Hanson says there will now be a new tenant in the space that was previously used by Taco Arcada.

The restaurant, which combined tacos and arcade games, opened up in Lincoln Park back in May.
