After several car and building windows were shot and damaged by BB guns, the Ashland Police Department says they have identified two suspects.

APD received several complaints the night of Sept. 28 into Sept. 29. Witnesses said suspects were driving around in a vehicle shooting at windows.

Someone was inside one of the damaged vehicles when it was shot, and there were several people inside the buildings when their windows were shot too.

The Ashland County Sheriff's Department and Mellen Police Department helped APD find a suspect vehicle.

"Evidence found inside the suspect vehicle supports witness accounts that a 'BB gun' was used to damage the windows," a press release said.

Two suspects were identified and located. One is a juvenile, and one is an adult.

Police say they will recommend charges related to criminal damage to property and recklessly endangering safety.
