A 19-year-old Superior man has been arrested in connection with a string of vandalism from this spring. Police said they took him into custody on Tuesday night, around 11:45pm.

They believe he is the lone suspect in these tagging cases, which include buildings at Wade Bowl Park and several locations along Belknap Street.

According to investigators, the suspect was cooperative with officers and gave a statement regarding his alleged involvement.

The seven counts of criminal damage to property have been referred to the Douglas County District Attorney's office.

Formal charges have not been filed yet. That decision will be made within the next two weeks.
