Spartan Students' Costa Rica Trip Fundraiser

Updated: August 24, 2019 08:33 PM

Some Twin Ports residents spent a part of their Saturday in Superior supporting the Spartans 2020 Costa Rica trip.

Superior high school students sold hot dogs, brats and baked goods and also bagged groceries at Super One Foods.

The Spartans' Spanish class students are excited for the adventure their March Costa Rica trip has in store.

Spartan sophomore Samantha Olson said, "It's a cool experience, you know. Many people don't get to travel, so it's nice that our school helps us with this. And for us kids it helps us prepare for our future because we're all going to be working eventually."

Many appreciated the students' hard work and were quite generous in helping them raise money for their trip.

All funds went towards the Costa Rica trip's travel expenses.
