Students are raising money to make 'sweet cases' a care kit in the form of a duffel bag that comes with coloring books, crayons, a teddy bear, blanket, and hygiene kit.

The bags provide foster kids a place to put their things in and offers comforting and neccessary items to them. Students are hoping to raise enough money to make 30 bags.

"They're going into new surroundings and different things and it’s good to have something that's their own and it’s comforting,” Lilly Glenn, an 8th grade student at Superior Middle School, said.

The fundraiser started on May 3 and runs until May 17.

If you're interested in donating you can write a check to the school, just make sure it says 'sweet cases' on the check. People can also donate online.
