One Victim in Sawyer County Stabbing

One person is in custody after a stabbing in the Town of Bass Lake.

At about 1:40 a.m., on the morning of December 26th, the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office received a call of an adult male who had been stabbed inside a residence, located on Poppletown Lane. 

After arriving at the scene, Deputies arrested an adult female suspect for felony First Degree Reckless Injury. The suspect has been identified as 27 year old, Jasmine Carrillo, a resident of the Town of Bass Lake.

The 27 year old male victim was transported to the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital after sustaining several stab wounds; a stab wound to the right side of his head just above the ear, right shoulder, back, chest, and calf. The victim's current medical condition is unknown, and the name of the victim is not being released. 

The incident has been forwarded to the Sawyer County District Attorney's Office for formal criminal charges.
