St. Louis County and the Duluth Transit Authority have partnered for an upcoming vaccination event.

The event will be held Tuesday, May 4th, and Wednesday May 5th at the Duluth Transportation Center from 1:00pm-5:00pm on both days.

At the event, people will have the opportunity to learn about the COVID-19 vaccine and receive one if they want to, free of charge.

"We wanted to provide the public with a great vaccination option in the heart of downtown. This Partnership with St. Louis County allows us to provide easy and equitable access to all," Duluth Transit Authority General Manager Rod Fournier said.

Free fares on DTA buses and via STRIDE Paratransit will be available to and from the vaccination site. Additionally, free parking will be available at the Duluth Transportation Center ramp, adjacent to the facility.
