The garage was fully involved and there were some explosions going off when crews first arrived, according to the fire department.

Fire officials said the garage had three classic cars inside, and those were destroyed. Damages are estimated to be $250,000.

A neighbor said that the man who lives at the house restores cars in the garage.

The fire did damage nearby trees, but did not spread to other buildings on the property.

No one was hurt, and it appeared the homeowners were on the scene during the firefighting efforts.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Duluth Fire Marshals office and any further information will be released from the Fire Marshals office.
