Jamey Michael Coleman, 39, was arrested back on October 13 for alleged sexual conduct against multiple children. He has been charged with two counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct, and one count of second degree criminal sexual conduct. He is being held in the Carlton County Jail.

The Cloquet Police Department says the alleged crimes against children came to light when one parent came forward to report the alleged abuse. An investigation led to more victims, and authorities believe Coleman knew his alleged victims.

Authorities say Coleman lived in the Twin Cities at one point and Derek Randall, Cloquet Police Department Commander, says requests have been sent out to Minnesota and Wisconsin law enforcement agencies looking for more information about Coleman's past.

The Cloquet Police Department is asking for anyone with additional information about Coleman's past to contact the department at 218-897-1247.

"We want to share our investigation with people who know Coleman, in case they have any pertinent information that has not yet been reported to law enforcement," Randall said in a release.

Randall says the public is safe at this time.
