It's a 25-year prison sentence for a Duluth man involved in a 2019 murder. Christopher Boder, 32, received that sentence on Wednesday morning.

The victim was 33-year-old Timothy Nelson, who died from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was the father of five young children.

The family of Nelson sent a statement after the sentencing:

"On behalf of the Nelson family and all those who loved Tim dearly, we want to thank the community and the St. Louis County attorney's office for being our backbone during a time we truly struggled to  maneuver through this entire tragedy. Today, justice was served, although it's far from over. Justice was seen today for our family, the children, and our community in the sentencing for Mr. Boder himself. Although this ultimately doesn't bring Tim back, it brings us all a sense of relief."

Three other defendants were also charged in connection with Nelson's murder, and their cases are still pending.
