David Lee Peltier, 59, had been reported missing on Sunday by members of his hunting party. They had been in the Nemadji State Forest along the Gandy Dancer Trail near Belden.

Pine County, along with friends and family of Peltier, and multiple agencies have searched the area. There's been no sign of him, according to the county. He rode in with friends, so they are not looking for a vehicle.

They reported using K-9s, swamp-accessible machinery, and aircraft, including a drone.

Hunters are being asked to keep watch and report anything to the Sheriff's office. The office will continue to follow up on any new information received.  320-629-8380
