It's not even Thanksgiving, but some kids already got to tell Santa what they want for Christmas.

This all happened Saturday at the Miller Hill Mall as part of the Santa's Elf in Training Workshop. It began with breakfast with Santa and carried on into the afternoon with many holiday activities. Gingerbread houses were built, along with ornaments and reindeer food.

With hundreds attending the event, organizers hope that it will become an annual event.

"This is our first annual event, so we are really excited to move this event carrying forward as tradition," said Janet Fawcett, Director of Marketing and Business Development at the Miller Hill Mall. "The numbers today have far exceeded our expectations. We just want to continually improve the event and have a great community activity for the day."

Santa and Mrs. Clause were also joined by Frozen's Anna and Elsa at the event. And we got inside information from Mrs. Claus saying that a lot of Christmas wishes are being made for Barbie play houses and T-Rex toys.
