Salvation Army Looking for More Bell Ringers for Red Kettle Challenge

The Red Kettle bell ringers are out looking for donations this holiday season and for those looking to volunteer, the Salvation Army is offering extra incentives.

It's called the Red Kettle Challenge and anyone can participate.

If you ring three or more two-hour shifts, you get a pair of tickets to a Duluth Huskies baseball game in 2018.

The group, business, or organization bell ringing for the greatest number of shifts will receive four VIP box seats to a UMD Bulldogs hockey game and a trophy.

"We encourage people to dress up, we encourage people to have a good time with it," Bryan Ellison, Duluth Salvation Army's Commanding Officer, said.  "It's something that you can do as a family, what really makes a big deal is if you brought an instrument."

They have 18 different Red Kettle locations around the area.  You can register to ring online here or call 218-722-7934.
